- The JMPLUS Blasting Helmet is a lightweight abrasive blasting respirator designed to provide high-level respiratory protection for operators during abrasive blasting and painting applications. Manufactured by an ISO 9001:2015 Certified Company, this helmet is engineered to ensure safety while protecting the wearer's upper body from rebounding abrasives.
- Key Features & Design - Supplied-Air System: The helmet functions as a supplied-air respirator. It must be connected to a breathing air source supplying Grade D or higher quality air. Visibility & Lens System: The helmet utilizes a multi-layered lens system for protection and clarity, including: Inner Lens: Fitted into the window frame gasket. Outer Lens: Secured by a latch to protect the inner assembly. Tear-off Lenses: Optional lenses available for extra protection.
- Technical Specifications - Air Pressure Requirements: The system requires an air volume range of 6–15 cfm (170–425 liters/min). Operating Temperature: Suitable for use in temperatures ranging from -10°C to +60°C (14°F to 140°F). Flow Control Options: The helmet is compatible with various JMPLUS flow control devices, including: Flow Control Valve Assembly. Cool Air Tube Assembly (for cooling incoming air). Hot Air Tube. Low Pressure Constant Flow Valve.
- Safety & Usage Guidelines - Intended Use: Designed for atmospheres NOT immediately dangerous to life or health (IDLH). Oxygen Requirements: Do not use in atmospheres containing less than 19.5% oxygen.
- Certifications: The system is CE approved when used with authentic JMPLUS components. Maintenance: Components such as the breathing tube, helmet linings, and lenses should be inspected daily for wear and replaced with genuine parts to maintain safety standards.
